Children are very welcome at our Sunday morning services for praise and worship, and during the second part of the service they are encouraged to attend our Sunday school.
The Ark Christian Fellowship runs Sunday School classes for children between the ages of 4 to 12 years old. All teachers are DBS checked and vetted by the elders of the fellowship.
Children are taught the word of God from the Bible using age appropriate material – we use “Go Teach”. Various activities are incorporated into the lessons weekly or seasonally to reinforce their learning. These include: memorizing scripture, learning new songs, arts & crafts, drama and games.
We also desire to encourage our children to engage with the whole body during the end of the month Family Service. The message is aligned with their Sunday school material and presented in a way (being led by the Holy Spirit) to engage the children and the congregation as a whole.
