History
ARK Christian Fellowship began in January 2017 where a small group of Christians started meeting on Sunday mornings in a house. As the group started to grow it was recognised that there was a genuine need for a larger meeting place to meet the needs for fellowship, worship, prayer and teaching. Eventually Swallowfield Parish hall was hired on a regular basis which has been a great blessing particularly as it has additional space for the young people to meet.
Leadership
The leadership of ARK Christian Fellowship is as follows:
Jesus (Colossians 1:15-18)
Elders
(Titus 1:6-9)
The Elders lead, direct and have spiritual oversight of the church. They are responsible for teaching, pastoring, discipline and overseeing the spiritual ministry.
Deacons
(1 Timothy 3:8-10)
Our Deacons and Deaconesses assist and support the fulfilment of our Vision and Mission. They are also responsible for the practical needs of the fellowship.
Trustees
ARK Christian Fellowship is registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). There are eight trustees having administrative responsibilities of which two are Elder/trustees with the additional responsibilities for the spiritual aspects of the fellowship.
The fellowship also benefits from the endorsement of renowned Ministers of God, such as Pastor John and Mary Angliss (Ambassador International Ministry) who have over 50 years ministerial experience.
